The future is now: a generation of sarcoidologists emerges
Advancing our understanding of sarcoidosis pathophysiology, as well as improving clinical care for patients will require a team effort.
The ‘sarcoidosis team’, those individuals who are focused on sarcoidosis through discovery research, patient-centered research, implementation science, and delivery of excellent care, is relatively small compared with other diseases.
